Want to get excited about a toilet seat? This is the one! Simple to install, cleans GREAT (just pop it off the bolts), closes well and is comfortable.

We liked the first one so much, we ordered a second one. Unfortunately after about 10 months, the first one had a hinge problem that eliminated the slow-close feature. I contacted Bemis (the manufacturer) who gave a couple suggestions to fix it, but stated if the recommendation didn't work, they would send us a whole new seat--however, it would have to be handled through Amazon. I called Amazon and the rep said I was past the return policy time. I explained that Bemis had a one year warranty (for which I qualified). Amazon rep, Katrina, then put me on hold, contacted the manufacturer for verification, and then came back and told me a replacement would arrive in the mail the next day! It took a total of 15 minutes (wonderful!) to complete this transaction. Katrina was super. Great customer service from both Amazon AND Bemis!! And as promised, the new toilet seat arrived 24 hours later!!
