This Mcleod has a wood handle(i believe ashwood) with steel head and stem. The forks on this thing have not bent for me, and i doubt they ever will unless i decide to use it improperly, chopping through a car door or something.
Other than that, this Mcleod is great and the price is right. I wonder if they'd be able to sell in bulk.
